We also make custom Toolrests for non Vicmarc brand Lathes. These standard toolrests all come with a high tensile steel round bar on top (the same as the current Vicmarc ones) with the exception of the Goblet Toolrest.
To order one of these custom Toolrests please follow the below steps.
1. Choose the toolrest size and style you would like from the "Please select' Box.
2. Once you have selected the size then click "add to cart" button.
3. Open your cart and then please write down a Note in the "add a note" box. We will need the dimensions B, C, D Shown on the picture above. Dimension A is the toolrest length you will have selected to purchase.
Please write down your desired sizes in "mm". See the example below:
A = 150mm (specified already by the size ordered)
B = 25mm
C =105mm
D = 120mm

I needed a longer toolrest to more easily turn things like longer spindles or in my case 12-15” french style rolling pins. I am always impressed by the construction of Vicmarc tools and this is no exception! very heavy duty construction with the 30mm shank and heavy hardened top bar on the toolrest I only wish I could live long enough to wear this out but not likely. Well done Vicmarc!
