The VM100 T - Bar Allen Key operated chuck allows for one handed tightening along with tremendous gripping power provided by the 4.5 to 1 ratio of the scroll.
Keyed chucks cannot be beaten when it comes to holding power. The totally enclosed back assures consistent, smooth action by preventing dust and debris from getting into the scroll and moving parts of the chuck.
The backing lid is also indexed for those wood turners who do not have an indexing facility on their lathes. The VM100's compact size makes it ideal for use on 300mm (12") capacity lathes or smaller.

Vicmarc designed Saftey Collar allows you to turn in reverse without the chuck coming undone from the Spindle. The Saftey Collar is an optional extra and will only work with Vicmarc Lathe Spindles. (see last picture)

This is my third Vicmarc chuck, 1x VM1 20 and now two VM100s. My old VM100 is inch 10 with an adapter and when turning a large hollow vessel I found I was working too far from the headstock so I have put my shark jaws on the new chuck and they will stay there. Great chucks

I love this chuck and the shark jaws are just perfect. Amazing how well built they are, very high quality. I especially like how the chuck adjusts with an hex key wrench, easy one hand adjustments. I bought one to check it out and I liked it so much I bought three more.
